Paper cutting card making

I thought I would have a little go at making some paper cut out cards, beginning with a very early Christmas tree design which is a bit rough around the edges but as I progressed with some other designs (September is a big card month in my family!) I think they get better, it's definitely something I will work on!

Liberty Print gifts

I have been using some of the beautiful Liberty print fabrics to cover little notebooks to make nice little girly gifts. I'd really like one myself!!

While I was in Liberty Print mode I made some little sewing kits using remnants of the fabric.

Vintage Afternoon Tea

hand made music sheet paper flower on slate and doiley tablecloth
I have begun working in collaboration with Alice Howard, creating vintage afternoon tea. I have made a selection of props such as paper flowers and doiley tablecloths, created some menus and bunting for the main guest - the bride to be in most instances- and then baked some delicious cakes and made sandwiches for the day. Using props also sourced by Alice we set up the room for an afternoon of Vintage Tea and cakes.

yummy cakes, and sandwiches alonside our lovely vintage typewriter and cake stands.

Fascinator tutor

Over the summer I worked as a workshop leader teaching Fascinator making to groups- mainly hen parties. This was great fun, and really enjoyable.
I did some practice pieces beforehand....
